Raohe St. Night Market 饒河街觀光夜市
One of the oldest night markets in Taipei's Songshan District, Raohe St. Night Market is known for its organized layout and delicious food, like black pepper cakes (胡椒餅), stinky tofu (臭豆腐), and shaved ice. It is located adjacent to the beautiful Ciyou Temple (慈祐宮).

Liberty Square 自由廣場
A vast plaza covering over 240,000 square meters in the heart of Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Liberty Square is the site of many public gatherings, exhibitions, and festival celebrations! Opened in 1975, it sits adjacent to many important Taiwan landmarks.

Presidential Office Building 總統府
Designed and constructed during Japanese rule, it formerly housed the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan. Following the relocation of the Republic of China following the Chinese Civil War, the building became the Presidential Office.

Red House Theater 西門紅樓
Located in the heart of Wanhua District, the Red House Theater was constructed in 1908. Originally used as a market building, this historic building was transformed into a theater 1945. It still regularly hosts live performances!

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall 國父紀念館
Built in commemoration of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the father of the Republic of China, the memorial hall serves as a social, education, and cultural center. The building architecture is inspired by styles of Chinese palaces.

One of thousands of convenience stores in Taiwan, these 24-hour shops are perfect for everything -- whether it's to grab a midnight snack, pay your bills, or find the latest manga. Taiwan has the highest convenience stores per capita, and for good reason!

Xinyi District 信義區
What's Bobo doing in Xinyi District, Taipei's premier shopping district? There's plenty to do in the financial district -- whether it's conventions, shopping, or entertainment. The area was transformed in the 1990s to become the seat of the city and national governments, and boasts some of the highest property prices in all of Taiwan.

Eslite Bookstore 誠品書店
Eslite Bookstore was the first to set up a 24-hour bookstore in Taiwan at its Dunhua store, attracting night-time readers. Its 8,000-square meter Xinyi District location (pictured) is Taiwan's largest bookstore! The chain has since expanded internationally to Hong Kong.

Opened in 1996, the Taipei Metro has quickly become the preferred means of traveling around Taipei! Serving over 1.7 million passengers a day, the system is known for its cleanliness (no food!) and punctuality.

Taipei Railway Station 臺北車站
Taipei Railway Station is a major transportation hub, handling over half a million passengers daily. It serves conventional rail, metro, and high speed rail lines, making it one of the most convenient and highest traffic stations in all of Taiwan.
